Here We Go! End-of-the-year frenzy!

First, Jake was asked by Hope, the goalie for the Permian High School
Soccer Team, to attend the Soccer Banquet. Hope and her parents came and picked him up. Hope's Mom took this photo at the banquet.
Next, we had the final Nimitz Orchestra Concert. My last concert at the junior high!
Now on to the PHS Tennis Banquet!
Jake and the head coach and assistant coach.
 Two buddies, Bryce and Rendan.
Bea is an exchange student from Sweden. She also attends our church!
The biggest news of the month...Jake auditioned for and was selected for Permian High School Satin Strings. I included the picture below to give you an idea. This orchestra is a "strolling ensemble." They walk through the audience as they perform. They've played at two Inaugural Balls in D.C., in Normandy, France, in honor of D-Day, at the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Ireland (last year), and will perform at Pearl Harbor next year in Hawaii for returning veterans. Jake's principal announced that he was selected for Satin Strings during the all-school announcements over the intercom on Monday. I thought that was so nice of her...she said it is a nationally ranked orchestra. We had our first parent meeting last night.
No Mother's Day pics yet for me! We will take them Sunday with Luke - he will come home TODAY after his chemistry final! So blessed and thankful!
