A good week for wildlife...

This has been a good week to see the animals that live in the neighborhood.  We named the alligator Sid.
The pictures of the deer were taken from our back patio.  Look at that precious baby!  We hope they come around all the time.  The jury is still out on how much we want to see Sid.  He was sunning himself on the grass most of the day today.

Mud-Run

Today Corbin, Andrew and I participated in the fund raiser "Mid-South 5k Mud-Run" to benefit the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.  Corbin and Andrew ran with a team from Corbin's work, and I did the course with Karen, a friend from church.  Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

No explanation, really, it's just how they roll...

Yes, the ONLY reason my shoes were not left behind in the mud is because of the duct tape!

Above, my friend Karen and I finishing together!!

Below, plastic bags and lots of towels were used on the way home...they had rinse stations, but still...
All the mud UNDER my shoes and socks...
 Bathtub after rinsing round one!
Corbin's work team split into groups of 3, and Andrew's group won 1st place!
Pic below is from the FB page, Corbin and Andrew conquered this, but unfortunately, as I was getting there, both rows of tires came untied (with people climbing them)- wasn't pretty!  Needless to say, my friend Karen and I and lots of others went up "monkey" style (also not pretty :)
